The other day I got a call from an old friend I used to work with in Kansas City. She was telling me that her and her fiancé were in need of some engagement photos! Of course I was super down for this especially because I haven't had the opportunity to shoot people lately. We met up at Forest Park and caught up a little bit before we sprung into action. I had never been to Forest Park before so this was an awesome experience for me especially to experience all of the great landscape that it had to offer. We met up around 530 or so and just went from there. I had nothing planned for the rest of the evening and I definitely needed a little more practice shooting people. I was so lucky to be able to shoot these two because not only do they photograph incredibly well, they are two of the most easy going people I have ever met. There was no awkwardness with these two and I really enjoyed every minute of shooting them, especially because it was very evident to me that they were head over heels in love with each other. That always makes these types of things much easier, and a lot more enjoyable!

After we wrapped up this power couple threw out the idea of going and grabbing some dinner. I was more than happy to join them as we threw down some of the best vietnamese food I had ever eaten in my life....ok so it was the only time I had ever had vietnamese food but still! it was SO good! Definitely a perfect way to end the evening. anyway, here's a couple shots of these two in action. enjoy!

cheeerz to a post thats not about cars!
