JERSEY // SHORE BRAHHH
//THIS POST IS LONG DEAL WITH IT <3
As I woke up friday morning, I realized that it was 6:00am. My flight for New York was set to leave at 6:30AM. shit.
Thankfully when I called my mother to reveal the terrible news, she had informed me that my flight was delayed about 40 minutes. I hung up the phone, threw myself together and flew out the front door. I hope I locked it. (as i'm sitting on the plane writing this)
I (literally) threw everything in the truck and darted to the airport. Luckily enough I did not hit a SINGLE red light, and there was no traffic. The airport is also right off the highway and I was able to grab a parking spot literally 30 feet from security where I waited about 5 minutes to get through. As I grabbed all of my belongings and bolted for the gate I noticed it was empty. I ran up on 2 ladies and asked if i had made it "Boyyyy you betta be Travis Carroll!" "I sure am!" I said as I am trying to catch my breath. "Boyyyyyyyy I been calling youuu! Get on dat plane!" She was shocked when I told her I came from the city in such a short amount of time. As I grabbed my boarding pass she asked me "Where is it that you gotta be that someone was looking out for you to make this plane?" I informed her I needed to meet my nephew, and ran down the hall to the plane.
Now, I've only been to the beach 2 times in my life (that I can remember) And I had no idea that I was going to the beach where Jersey Shore took place AND my moms beach house happened to be about 100 steps from the show house. That being said you can imagine what type of people flooded the beach and boardwalk. Yeah....
Shortly after we pulled into the house and I said all of my hellos, my brother and his family showed up. I finally met my nephew Sean Thomas. He was perfect. I'm not generally a fan of babies or any children for that matter but all of my opinions about little children went right out the window when I saw this dudes face. I couldn't take my eyes off of him long enough to get any photographs of him! THATS HOW PERFECT HE WAS.
For the next couple of days I would walk the boardwalk, people watch, take pictures of random interesting humans, hear a bunch of crazy stories from said interesting humans, ride wave runners (get thrown off) drink more than I should have, eat a shitload of pizza, stay up too late, go to the actual sand on the beach once and have a great fucking time doing it.
I can't wait until I can make it back to the beach. As for Jersey shore.........who am I kidding i'll probably go again.
