In collaboration with Jake Potts and John Maznio (and in an effort to keep creating during a pandemic) How I Modelo is a social campaign taking a peek into the daily lives of people across the country based around one thing: beer.
Jake and John both made great still images from this challenge prompt, but I took it a different direction.
Most of the collaborators were contacted in the morning, and images were delivered within 6-12 hours. We utilized door dash to deliver beer to those who didn’t already have it, and directed everyone to document ~10 pictures while they were having 1 beer.
For a brief moment I was able to get a sneak peek into the lives of my friends during a time when we were all locked in our homes. Photos from this project prompted multiple conversations with friends I hadn’t spoken to in a few weeks or a few months.
